Happy System Administrator Appreciation Day! This was a new one on me until I heard it mentioned on a podcast and of course I had to Google it to see if it was true. It turns out not only to be true but today is the 11th anniversary of the System Administrator Appreciation Day.

So, for all of you unsung heroes on the infrastructure and operation side who generally only get noticed when something goes wrong and rarely get noticed when the network, email and web site are humming along - HAPPY SYSADMIN DAY and have a tall cold one on me.
