Deja Vu Tax reform
The tax reform act passed this week brought back nostalgic memeories. Remember the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008? The check the IRS sent was so impressive I just kept it instead of cashing it. If you dont remember it was all over the news that rebates were coming. The government mailed announcement letters to us every month once it passed until they started issuing the checks saying that we should watch out for the checks in the mail. The news media played it up with estimates of $300 to $600 per tax payer - good times. SO my last impressive rebate check is shown above - can't wait to see what the next one looks like although I've already got a strong suspicion it will be a long time coming..Deja Vu Taxes!
